  • 1/4 inch Ginger, Grated
  • 1/2 Green Chilies, Finely Chopped

  • STEP 1.Soak moong dal for 4-5 hours and grind it into a smooth batter with ginger, green chili, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Cover the batter and let it ferment overnight or for at least 6-8 hours.
  • STEP 3.Grease the pandoli plates or idli molds with oil.
  • STEP 4.Pour the batter into the greased plates and steam for about 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.
  • STEP 5.Remove the pandolis from the plates and serve hot with chutney.
