1/2 As Required tomato finely chopped (seeds removed)
1/2 tsp jeera
A Pinch Pinch of hing
As Required Red chilli powder as per taste
to taste Salt
A Few Bread slices
As Required Oil
to taste Salt
Directions: Moong Daal Toast Recipe
STEP 1.Method:
STEP 2.Wash the dal nicely and soak it for atleast 4 hrs.
STEP 3.Wash it once and drain the water completely after 4 hrs.
STEP 4.In a grinder add dal, ginger, green chillies and ajwain and grind..If required a 1-2 spoon of water.
STEP 5.Remove in a bowl.
STEP 6.Add chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, chopped coriander, jeera,grated carrot, salt to taste, red chilli powder, hing and mix well.
STEP 7.Take a bread slice and spread the batter evenly on one side and sprinkle some sesame seeds.
STEP 8.Take a pan and apply little oil and keep the batter applied side bread on pan..
STEP 9.Cook on low flame till nice golden in colour.
STEP 10.Flip and cook from other side too till bread is nice crispy..
STEP 11.I have applied the moong dal batter only on one side but u can apply on both sides too..
STEP 12.Serve hot with chutney of ur choice or tomato ketchup...
STEP 13.Yummy and healthy breakfast is ready...
