  • 1/25 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.33 tablespoon Butter
  • 0.33 tablespoon All Purpose Flour
  • 0.33 cup Milk

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • STEP 2.Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • STEP 3.In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  • STEP 4.Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet with the ground beef. Stir well to combine.
  • STEP 5.In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
  • STEP 6.Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded Monterey Jack cheese until melted and smooth.
  • STEP 7.In the greased baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti, followed by half of the ground beef mixture, and half of the Monterey Jack cheese sauce. Repeat the layers.
  • STEP 8.Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
