Ingredients for Mont Lak Kauk Kyaw Recipe

  • 1 cup glutinous rice flour 1/4cup ice flour 1/4tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • As required Jaggery
  • As required Sesame Seeds

Directions: Mont Lak Kauk Kyaw Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a bowl start adding 1 cup glutinous rice flour, rice flour ¼ cup, baking soda ¼ tsp, salt ¼ tsp, and water ½ cup.

  • STEP 2.Before adding the water mix all the dry elements well.

  • STEP 3.Now keep kneading it into a soft dough.

  • STEP 4.Add some sesame seeds to the dough and sprinkle some dry flour and keep kneading them.

  • STEP 5.Now take a generous portion from the dough and roll them and from a thick string and then join the ends (like a doughnut).

  • STEP 6.Wash the jaggery candy with warm water and then boil them in hot water until we get a smooth and thick paste.

  • STEP 7.Take a kadai to add a good amount of oil, heat the oil.

step 8

  • STEP 8.And then start dropping the doughnuts and fry them evenly from both sides. Make sure you fry the outer part as well.

  • STEP 9.Take them out in a kitchen napkin to soak the excess oil.

step 10

  • STEP 10.Serve it with the jaggery sauce we just made and enjoy it hot.
