Ingredients for Momos Recipe

  • 1/5 cups maida
  • 1/20 tsp Salt
  • 1/20 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/10 cup Carrot
  • 1/10 cup Cabbage
  • 1/10 tbsp Oil
  • 1/20 cup Onion
  • 1/10 tsp Garlic
  • 1/10 tsp Soya sauce
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.03 tsp Vinegar
  • 0.03 tsp Black pepper

Directions: Momos Recipe

  • STEP 1.Mix the maida, salt and baking powder and knead to a stiff dough with water.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil and add the onion and garlic. Saute over high heat and add the carrot and cabbage. Turn around over high heat till glossy.
  • STEP 3.Take it off the heat and mix in the soya sauce, salt, vinegar and black pepper.
  • STEP 4.Roll the dough thin (translucent) and cut into 4"-5" rounds.
  • STEP 5.Take a round, wet edges and place some filling in the center.
  • STEP 6.Bring edges together to cover the filling. Twist to seal and fill the rest in the same way.
  • STEP 7.Steam for about 10 minutes and serve with soya sauce and chilli sauce.
