Ingredients for Mohan Maas Recipe

  • 1.25 kilogram Chicken
  • 100 milliliter Groundnut oil
  • 80 milliliter Desi ghee
  • 3 stick Cinnamon pieces
  • 2 piece Black cardamom
  • 5 No.s Cloves
  • 10 gram Coriander seeds
  • 15 No.s Dried whole red chilli
  • 15 No.s Black peppercorns
  • 1/2 tablespoon Royal cumin
  • 1 No.s Stick ginger
  • 2 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Melon seeds
  • 100 milliliter Curd
  • 25 gram Shredded coconut
  • 25 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 20 gram Coriander
  • 25 gram Poppy seeds
  • 20 No.s Green chillies
  • 3 No.s Onions
  • 1 tablespoon Kewra water

Directions

How to Make Mohan Maas Recipe

  • Slice onions
  • Grind curd, shredded coconut,melon seeds & poppy seeds to make a paste.
  • 1.add oil in a pot & heat it.
  • 2.then add chicken and fry it for 7-8 mins.
  • 3.take out the fried chicken now.
  • 4.then using the same pot add ghee.
  • 5.now add cinnamon stick,black cardamom,cloves, coriander seeds,whole red chilli & black peppercorns.
  • 6.fry it for a min.
  • 7.add chopped onions,green chillies,garlic cloves,ginger & fry them.
  • 8.cook well
  • 9.let the fried mixture cool down & then grind it to make a paste.
  • 10.then add the grinded paste in the pot and fry it using the leftover gghee.
  • 11.add some water & salt and cook it until ghee separates.
  • 12.then add fried chicken and cook it at high flame.
  • 13.add prepared curd paste,cover and cook for 2-3 mins.
  • 14.now stir it and cook for 10 mins at low flame.
  • 15.add 1 ½ glass water and keda water.
  • 16.sprinkle some fresh coriander leaves.
  • 17. Cover and cook for 15 mins.
