Ingredients for Mohan Maas Recipe

  • 1.25 kilogram Chicken
  • 100 milliliter Groundnut oil
  • 80 milliliter Desi ghee
  • 3 stick Cinnamon pieces
  • 2 piece Black cardamom
  • 5 No.s Cloves
  • 10 gram Coriander seeds
  • 15 No.s Dried whole red chilli
  • 15 No.s Black peppercorns
  • 1/2 tablespoon Royal cumin
  • 1 No.s Stick ginger
  • 2 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Melon seeds
  • 100 milliliter Curd
  • 25 gram Shredded coconut
  • 25 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 20 gram Coriander
  • 25 gram Poppy seeds
  • 20 No.s Green chillies
  • 3 No.s Onions
  • 1 tablespoon Kewra water

step 1

  • STEP 1.Slice onions

  • STEP 2.Grind curd, shredded coconut,melon seeds & poppy seeds to make a paste.

  • STEP 3.1.add oil in a pot & heat it.

step 6

  • STEP 4.2.then add chicken and fry it for 7-8 mins.

  • STEP 5.3.take out the fried chicken now.

  • STEP 6.4.then using the same pot add ghee.

  • STEP 7.5.now add cinnamon stick,black cardamom,cloves, coriander seeds,whole red chilli & black peppercorns.

  • STEP 8.6.fry it for a min.

  • STEP 9.7.add chopped onions,green chillies,garlic cloves,ginger & fry them.

  • STEP 10.8.cook well

  • STEP 11.9.let the fried mixture cool down & then grind it to make a paste.

  • STEP 12.10.then add the grinded paste in the pot and fry it using the leftover gghee.

  • STEP 13.11.add some water & salt and cook it until ghee separates.

step 16

  • STEP 14.12.then add fried chicken and cook it at high flame.

step 17

  • STEP 15.13.add prepared curd paste,cover and cook for 2-3 mins.

step 18

  • STEP 16.14.now stir it and cook for 10 mins at low flame.

step 19

  • STEP 17.15.add 1 ½ glass water and keda water.

step 20

  • STEP 18.16.sprinkle some fresh coriander leaves.

step 21

  • STEP 19.17. Cover and cook for 15 mins.
