  • As required Cooking Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin paste
  • 2 Chopped Onions
  • 5-6 green chili
  • As required Salt
  • 4 Potatoes
  • 200 gram green peas
  • 3 Carrot
  • 1 Cabbage
  • 200 gram Beans
  • 5 mixed spices
  • 2 bay leaves
  • As required Dry red chili

How to Make Mixed Veggies (labra) Recipe

STEP 01

Peel off the skin from the potatoes and dice them, slice the green chilies from the middle.

STEP 02

Chop the onions, beans, carrot, and cabbage.

STEP 03

Grate the ginger around 2tbsp.

STEP 04

Remove the green peas from their pod.

STEP 05

Make a paste of green chili, garlic, and cumin seed ( all about 2tbsp).

STEP 06

Take a kadai to add 2 cups of water and add the veggies-(potato, peas, carrots, beans, and cabbage).

STEP 07

Add the garlic paste, green chili paste, and cumin paste (each 2tbsp). Mix them well with the veggies.

STEP 08

Add 1tsp turmeric and 1tsp salt. Cover it for 10mins and let it cook.

STEP 09

Once they are cooked and water dries up. Now take another kadai to pour 7-8tbsp oil,

STEP 10

Heat the oil and add 2 bay leaf, dry red chili and 5 mixed spices, saute them and let the aroma infuse.

STEP 11

Add the onions and fry them till translucent, now add 2 tbsp grated ginger and saute them well.

STEP 12

Now add the cooked veggies and mix all of them well. Add ½ cup water if needed.

STEP 13

Now add the 1 ½ tbsp roasted cumin powder and 1tbsp sugar(optional) and mix it well with the veggies.

STEP 14

Cover it and cook it for more than 5 mins.

STEP 15

Serve it with steamed rice.
