A very delicious,crunchy healthy dish prepared from veggies,mushrooms and some seasoning cubes.Mixed Vegetables Subji is a dish made with different vegetables. The vegetables are cooked and then tossed with an extra tempering made with butter, oil, cheese and different spices such as biryani masala, chole masala, and kasuri methi. It gives a different taste to your regular prepared subji and tastes best with roti, paratha or puri.

Ingredients for Mixed Vegetables With Cabbage Recipe

  • 1 Nos medium cabbage
  • 2 Nos carrots
  • 250 gram mushrooms
  • 1 Nos onion
  • 4 Nos tomatoes
  • 1 handful green beans
  • 1 Nos green bell pepper
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 stem celery
  • 2 sprig cilantro/parsley
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon White Pepper
  • 3 Nos seasoning maggi cubes

Directions: Mixed Vegetables With Cabbage Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Grind ginger,garlic, cilantro with quarter cup of water and make a paste

  • STEP 2.Season mushrooms with some salt & white pepper

  • STEP 3.Now add a tbsp of blend paste and then mix well and keep aside

    step 5

    • STEP 4.1. Add 8 cups of water in a pot,followed by a tsp of salt and bring it to a boil.

    step 6

    • STEP 5.2. Add cabbage into the boiling water then turn off the flame and let the cabbage remain in the pot for 5 mins.

    • STEP 6.3. Strain the cabbage after 5 mins under running water.

    step 8

    • STEP 7.4. Now add oil in a pot & heat it.

    step 9

    • STEP 8.5. Add chopped onions and saute it.

    step 10

    • STEP 9.6. Add tomatoes and stir it and cook it for about 10 mins with occasional stirring.

    step 11

    • STEP 10.7. Then add the ground paste and cook for about 2 mins.

    step 12

    • STEP 11.8. Now add the mushrooms and cook it for another 5 mins

    step 13

    • STEP 12.9. Squeeze the cabbage to remove the excess water from it.

    step 14

    • STEP 13.10. Add salt as per taste,some white pepper and then add the seasoning cubes.

    step 15

    • STEP 14.11. Now add carrots,beans,green pepper, cabbage and mix all well.

    step 16

    • STEP 15.12. Once all the ingredients are cooked, turn off the flame.
