  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala

  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • as required A Few Curry Leaves
  • as required Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Directions: Mixed Vegetable Moong Dal Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the moong dal for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.In a pressure cooker, add the soaked dal, chopped vegetables, turmeric powder, salt, and water.
  • STEP 3.Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles or until the dal and vegetables are cooked.
  • STEP 4.In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 5.Add chopped onions and saut茅 until golden brown.
  • STEP 6.Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, and tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 7.Add the cooked dal and vegetables to the pan and mix well.
  • STEP 8.Add garam masala, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 9.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
