  • 1/4 Carrot, Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Beans, Chopped
  • 0.13 cup Peas
  • 1/4 Onion, Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 0.06 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the lentils for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add cumin seeds, asafoetida, and chopped onions. Saute until onions are translucent.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped vegetables, soaked lentils, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 2-3 whistles.
  • STEP 4.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
