  • 0.06 cup Moong Dal
  • 0.06 cup Toor Dal
  • 1/4 Onion

  • 1/2 tablespoon Coriander Leaves
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Red Chili Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak the lentils in water for 4-5 hours.
  • STEP 2.Drain the water and grind the lentils into a coarse paste.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, and spices to the lentil paste.
  • STEP 4.Mix well and shape the mixture into small patties.
  • STEP 5.Heat oil in a deep pan and deep-fry the vadas until golden brown.
  • STEP 6.Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel.
  • STEP 7.Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
