  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 0.06 cup Peanuts
  • 1/4 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 2.25 Y Leaves
  • 1/4 Large Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • as needed Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Slit the green chillies lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and fry the chillies until they turn slightly brown.
  • STEP 3.In a separate pan, roast peanuts and sesame seeds until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Grind the roasted peanuts and sesame seeds into a fine paste.
  • STEP 5.In the same pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 6.Add chopped onions and saut茅 until golden brown.
  • STEP 7.Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 8.Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 9.Add the peanut and sesame paste and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 10.Add tamarind pulp and water. Mix well and bring to a boil.
  • STEP 11.Reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the gravy thickens.
  • STEP 12.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with biryani or pulao.

  • You can adjust the spiciness of the dish by adding more or fewer green chillies.
  • Make sure to remove the seeds from the chillies to reduce the heat.
