Ingredients for Millet Oats Sandwich Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Pearl millet
  • 1/2 cup Oats
  • 1/4 cup Urad Dal
  • 1/2 Tsp Fenugreek seed
  • 1 Tbsp Green Chillies (finely chopped)
  • 2.50 Pieces Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp Chopped cucumber
  • 3 Tbsp Grated/Finely Chopped Tomatoes
  • 3 Tbsp medium onion (chopped very finely)
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala
  • to taste Chat masala

Directions: Millet Oats Sandwich Recipe

  • STEP 1.Mix pearl millet,oats, urad dal & fenugreek seeds in a bowl & soak it with enough water for 3 to 4 hours.
  • STEP 2.Then add green chilli & garlic cloves in it.Grind it & make a paste of it.Don't add water.If needed add 2 to 3tspn water.We have to make the consistency just like idli batter.
  • STEP 3.Now add salt.Cover it & keep aside for fermentation for 6 to 8 hours.Don't over ferment else it will become sour.
  • STEP 4.In a mixing bowl take chopped cucumber, tomato ,onion.Mix salt & chat masala.Salad is ready.
  • STEP 5.Take small hand sandwich maker now.Make it hot on gas & brush oil on both side inside the sandwich maker.
  • STEP 6.Now spread some batter on one side of it,put some salads on it & again cover it with some batter. Close the sandwich maker.
  • STEP 7.Make the flame low & cook both sides.
  • STEP 8.It will take 10 to 12 minutes.
  • STEP 9.Sandwich is ready...Serve it with sauce or chutney.It's a very healthy & tasty sandwich ...Try it..☺️☺️
