  • STEP 1.It is very important until the milk mixture becomes creamy and thick. Now it’s ready.

step 6

  • STEP 5.Filter the milk mixture through a sieve to get rid of any chunks, and then add the orange blossom water, let the milk mixture cool down, and let’s prepare the warka.

step 7

  • STEP 1.Preparing the warqa we are going to shape the warqa into small disks. But it does not matter if you can just cut with scissors.

step 9

  • STEP 6.Heat some cooking oil in a pan on medium heat, and once it’s hot, add the warka disks.

step 10

  • STEP 7.Fry them for one minute on each side until they become beautiful golden.

step 11

  • STEP 8.Place the disks in a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

step 12

  • STEP 9.Note we have to serve this dessert now, right after frying the warka, when it is still warm!

  • STEP 10.Serving first, place 2 pieces of fried warka, top them evenly with the milk mixture, sprinkle some chopped roasted almonds and cover with 2 pieces of fried warka, then again milk paste, chopped toasted almonds, then finally 2 pieces of warka, a little bit of milk mixture and a touch of roasted almonds. Sprinkle some cinnamon and powdered sugar.
