  • 83.33 grams Chickpeas soaked and boiled
  • 0.33 Pieces Lemon
  • 1.33 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • 0.67 Pieces Tomato
  • 0.67 Pieces Cucumber
  • 0.33 Tbsp Mint leaves
  • 1.33 tbsp Xtra virgin olive oil
  • 0.08 tsp Red chulli powder
  • 0.08 tsp Salt
  • 0.08 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.33 tsp Sesame seeds
  • 1 Pieces Crushed garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp Green or black olives

Directions: Middle Eastern Chickpea Salad Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak the chickpeas overnight then pressure cook it for 2 whistles on medium low flame or until the chickpea is neither too soft nor too hard. Let it cool down
  • STEP 2.In the mean time u prepare your veggies by dicing them up.
  • STEP 3.Then you start preparing for seasoning by first crushing garlic cloves.
  • STEP 4.In a small bowl, pour in the olive oil, lemon, all the spices, garlic. Also add in the coriander n mint leaves.
  • STEP 5.Mix them well enough.
  • STEP 6.Now u can pour this dressing over the chickpeas in a separate bowl nicely and mix it very well.
  • STEP 7.Now for the best taste, refigerate it for at least 1 hour before having it.
  • STEP 8.Voila, salad is ready!.
  • STEP 9.This is a perfect item to have as a side dish for lunch or evening snack.
  • STEP 10.Enjoy!
