Ingredients for Mexican Picadillo Recipe

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • As required Salt
  • As required Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 1 jalapeno finely diced
  • 1 Roma Tomato Diced
  • 1 garlic clove finely minced
  • 1 poblano pepper roasted skin removed, and finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon beef bouillon
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup potatoes parboiled and diced
  • As required Cilantro chopped

  • STEP 1.In a large skillet heat oil

  • STEP 2.Season the beef with salt,pepper and cumin

  • STEP 3.Add the beef to the skillet

  • STEP 4.Break the meat

step 5

  • STEP 5.Cook for 5mins

  • STEP 1.Drain the excess fat

step 7

  • STEP 6.Add the onion, jalapenos,and tomatoes

  • STEP 7.Add the garlic, beef bouillon, tomato sauce, poblano pepper and salt

  • STEP 8.Mix well

step 10

  • STEP 9.Cover and cook for 10mins

step 11

  • STEP 10.Add the potatoes and cook for 5mins

step 12

  • STEP 11.Serve with tortillas and rice
