Ingredients for Mexican Deviled Shrimps Recipe

  • 1 pound large shrimp
  • 4 guajillo chiles
  • 3 chile de arbol
  • 2 cup Water
  • 3 tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 chipotle pepper
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 1 garlic clove finely diced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

Directions: Mexican Deviled Shrimps Recipe

  • STEP 1.Remove the seeds of the guajillo chilies and chile de arbol
  • STEP 2.In a pot add the chilies and add enough water. Boil and rest for 5 minutes
  • STEP 3.To blend add boiled chilies , tomatoes,chipotle pepper,¼ onion,garlic and salt
  • STEP 4.Blend into a sauce and set aside
  • STEP 5.Peel and marinate the shrimps with salt and pepper
  • STEP 6.Heat a large pan with olive oil. Add the remaining onions and fry
  • STEP 7.Add the shrimp and mix well, Add the sauce on the low heat add salt and mix well.
  • STEP 8.Serve as a side dish with rice and lime wedge
