#chicken Methi Murgh is a delicately spiced, creamy and delicious curry of chicken cooked with fresh fenugreek or methi leaves. Stunningly tasty and super quick, a perfect winter dinner to keep you warm. If you are really bored of eating the same old chicken curry then this fresh methi malai murgh where the addition of cream mellows down the bitterness thereby adding to the rich quotient of this dish.

Ingredients for Methi Malai Murg Recipe

  • 266.67 gms Chicken
  • 1.83 cup Chopped methi leaves
  • 1.33 g reen chillies
  • 0.33 g Large onion
  • 0.33 Pieces Tomato
  • 1.33 g arlic cloves
  • 1.33 tbsp Mustard oil
  • 0.33 tbsp Garam masala powder
  • 0.17 cup Cream
  • 1.33 Pieces Baby potatoes
  • 0.08 cup Yoghurt
  • 0.33 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.33 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.33 tsp Salt
  • 0.33 tsp Coriander powder
  • 0.33 tsp Cumin powder

Directions: Methi Malai Murg Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. Take all the ingredients under section gravy paste in a bowl and mix well.
  • STEP 2.2.Now in a kadai add mustard oil, chopped onions, minced garlic cloves and fry. Add the gravy paste and stir till oil seperates on sides of kadai
  • STEP 3.3. Add the chicken and fry in this gravy paste till nicely coated
  • STEP 4.4. Add fresh chopped methi leaves and chopped tomatoes and mix well and then cover to cook
  • STEP 5.5. Add the cream and mix well and again cover the kadai and cook in low flame till the chicken and potatoes gets cooked.
  • STEP 6.6. Finally add garam masala powder and mix well and serve with roti or paratha
