How to Make Methi Malai Matar Paneer Recipe

STEP 01

Soak cashew nuts and melon seeds in warm water for half an hour. Then make paste of it.

STEP 02

Now in a pan, heat some oil & add cardamom pods, clove & cinnamon & saute it. Then add onion, garlic ginger green chillies paste & saute it. Let it cool completely & then make a paste in mixer & strain it & keep aside.

STEP 03

Now in the same pan, add oil/ ghee, add dry red chilli & add onion paste which we have made & saute it.

STEP 04

Then add cashews paste & saute it. To adjust the consistently, add some milk. After few minutes, add boiled green peas, fenugreek leaves and mix it.

STEP 05

Now add salt, sugar, garam masala & mix everything well. Let it cook for another few minutes till the fenugreek leaves are cooked well. Cover the lid.

STEP 06

Now add paneer cubes & fresh malai to it & cook for another two minutes.
