Breaded in golden panko breadcrumbs, they are seriously good!

Ingredients for Menchi Katsu Recipe

  • 1 pound ground beef and pork
  • 1 chopped brown onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup Panko
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • As required pepper
  • As required Nutmeg
  • As required Flour
  • As required egg, beaten
  • As required Panko
  • As required oil for deep frying
  • As required Tonkatsu sauce
  • As required cabbage, shredded

Directions: Menchi Katsu Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a large bowl put ,meat onion, egg, 1/4 cup panko,pepper and nutmeg , knead very well
  • STEP 2.Divide into 8 round pieces and flatten
  • STEP 3.Coat with flour,egg and then panko
  • STEP 4.Refrigerate for 20mins
  • STEP 5.Heat oil in a frying pan for deep frying
  • STEP 6.Fry the patties well each side
  • STEP 7.Serve with cabbage and tonkatsu sauce
