How to Make Meen Peera Recipe

Cooking Directions


Crush the onions, ginger, garlic cloves, green chillies together. Shred the coconut.

Cut and wash the fish . Heat the pan and add the fish

Add shredded coconut 1 cup and the crushed spices. Add ¼ tsp turmeric powder and ½ tsp black pepper powder

Mix well , add 1 cup water and salt to taste, cover and cook for 3mins . Add curry leaves and 1tbsp coconut oil , mix well. Serve with rice.

Storage and serving method


Serve meen peera as a side dish with lachha paratha (whole wheat) and steamed rice for a healthy lunch.
