 This is a type of a traditional yellow noodle dish of Malaysia originated in Muar, Juhar, Malasia which is a curry cooked with yellow noodle coupled with egg in addition to a thick broth-gravy made of a combination of dried shrimps.Made up of many ingredients.Easy and quick recipe to prepare.

Ingredients for Mee Bandung Recipe

  • 1/2 pound egg noodles/spaghetti
  • 1/2 pound Shrimp
  • 2 Nos shallots
  • 1.50 teaspoon Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger
  • 2 cup Beef Broth
  • 5 tablespoon Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon chilli paste
  • 2 Nos eggs
  • 3 teaspoon Sugar
  • As required Salt
  • 1 Nos hard boiled egg
  • 1 Nos lime

Directions: Mee Bandung Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Boil spaghetti/egg noodles and drain the water and keep it aside.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Bring the beef broth to a boil at medium flame and add the sliced shallots,garlic,ginger,ketchup,chili paste,sugar and salt as per taste,mix well and bring to a boil.

  • STEP 1.Simmer the flame until the broth has reduced and thickened slightly and add prawns and cook at low flame until the prawns turn pink.

step 7

  • STEP 2.5.drizzle in the egg and cook at simmer until gravy thickens

step 8

  • STEP 1.Place the noodles into a plate and pour the gravy onto it, lastly,garnish with hard boiled eggs and lime wedges
