Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • STEP 2.In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • STEP 3.Shape the mixture into patties and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • STEP 4.While the patties are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter. Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized.
  • STEP 5.Remove the patties from the oven and set aside. Wipe the skillet clean and place it back on the heat.

  • STEP 9.Serve the Meatloaf Patty Melts hot with your favorite sauce or condiments.

Cooking Tips

  • For extra flavor, you can add diced bell peppers or shredded cheese to the meatloaf mixture.
  • To make the caramelized onions faster, you can add a pinch of sugar to help with the browning process.
  • Feel free to use any type of cheese you prefer, such as cheddar, Swiss, or provolone.

Storage and Serving

  • Leftover meatloaf patties can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, place the patties in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes, or until heated through.
  • Serve the Meatloaf Patty Melts with a side of fries, coleslaw, or a green salad for a complete meal.
