Ingredients for Matar paneer Recipe

  • 0.13 kg matar
  • 50 gram Paneer
  • 1/2 g oniond grated
  • 1 g tomatoes grinded
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • as required water
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.06 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/4 Pieces Bayleaf
  • 1/4 Pieces Black cardamom
  • as required water
  • As Required For Ganishing Coriander leaves for garnish

Directions: Matar Paneer Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a cooker heat oil &add bay leaf & black cardamom.When aroma smells off,add chopped onions & ginger garlic paste. Cook till onions become brown.Add all the ingredients & saute for a second.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped tomatoes& cook till they become mashy.
  • STEP 3.Now add peas in it.cook on low flame for few seconds& add 1 glass of water.
  • STEP 4.Cover with lid & give 2-3 whistles,switch off the flame.let it cool down.Open the lid & add cubed paneer pieces in it.cook till all the water absorbed.mix well.Again add the water according to the need & cook for5 minutes.Inbetween check the peas are properly cooked.
  • STEP 5.Pour it in the serving bowl & garnish with coriander leaves..Seve hot with chapati.
