Ingredients for Masoor dal Recipe

  • 1/2 cups masoor dal
  • as required water
  • 1/4 g Split green chilli
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 As Required Dried red chilli
  • 1/4 g Chopped garlic
  • 1/4 Pieces Chopped onion
  • as required Salt
  • 1/4 tsp kasuri methi

Directions: Masoor Dal Recipe

  • STEP 1.Firstly in a pressure cook masoor dal and water for 5 whistles. now in another pan heat 1 tbsp ghee and splutter jeera, dried red chili and add chopped onion, add ginger garlic paste, and green chili.
  • STEP 2.Saute well. further add turmeric, ½ tsp chili powder, and coriander powder. saute on low flame.
  • STEP 3.Now add garam masala, coriander, and crushed Kasuri methi. finally, serve dal fry with hot jeera rice or ghee rice.
  • STEP 4.Additionally, add tomato and saute till it turns soft and mushy. add the cooked dal along with salt. mix well. simmer for 5 minutes or till dal turns smooth and absorbs flavour.
