  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Garam Masala

Directions: Masoor And Tuvar Dal With Zucchini Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the masoor dal and tuvar dal for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.In a pressure cooker, add the soaked dals, chopped zucchini, turmeric powder, salt, and water.
  • STEP 3.Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles or until the dals are cooked and soft.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and asafoetida.
  • STEP 5.Once the seeds start to crackle, add chopped onions, ginger, and garlic. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 6.Add chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Cook until tomatoes are soft and oil separates.
  • STEP 7.Add the cooked dal and zucchini mixture to the pan. Mix well and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
