Ingredients for Masala poori Recipe

  • 66.67 gms White peas
  • as required Salt
  • 0.33 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 Pieces no. Bay leaves
  • 0.17 tbsp Cumin
  • 0.33 tbsp Ginger garlic chilli paste
  • 0.33 Cups Tomatoes chopped
  • 0.17 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.33 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 0.17 tbsp Cumin powder
  • 0.17 tbsp Jaggery
  • 0.33 tbsp Tamarind pulp
  • 0.33 tbsp Oil

Directions: Masala Poori Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash & soak peas overnight.
  • STEP 2.Next day discard soaked water...rinse once.
  • STEP 3.Add enough water, salt & 1 tsp turmeric ..cook till soft.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a pan.
  • STEP 5.Fry cumin & bay leaf.
  • STEP 6.Add spice powders & paste.
  • STEP 7.Fry for a min.
  • STEP 8.Add tomatoes..cook till mushy.
  • STEP 9.Add boiled peas.
  • STEP 10.Add salt to taste & water to adjust consistency.
  • STEP 11.Mash peas from back of spoon.
  • STEP 12.Add tamarind & jaggery.
  • STEP 13.Boil on low flame for 7-8 min.
  • STEP 14.Turn off flame.
  • STEP 15.While serving..
  • STEP 16.Break the poories in a plate.
  • STEP 17.Pour ragda over it.
  • STEP 18.Add green chutney & sweet chutney.
  • STEP 19.Sprinkle chopped onion , cilantro & sev.
  • STEP 20.Serve immediately.
