Ingredients for masala dosa Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Dosa batter
  • 2 Pieces Boiled Potatoes
  • 1/2 Pieces Onion
  • 1/2 Pieces Tomato
  • 1.50 g 3-4 g
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp jeera / cumin seeds
  • As Required As per taste Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Haldi powder
  • 4 tsp Oil

Directions: Masala Dosa Recipe

  • STEP 1.Firstly to prepare the filling for the dosa heat oil in a thick bottom pan. Once hot reduce the flame and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and green chilies.
  • STEP 2.Once the mustard seeds start to splutter and there is a nice aroma add the sliced onions and chopped ginger.
  • STEP 3.Once the onions start to turn translucent, add tomatoes. Saute for 2-3 minutes and then add turmeric and salt. Cook well until the tomatoes get smashed and start leaving oil.
  • STEP 4.Now add the mashed potatoes and mix everything well. After cooking for 2-3 minutes it's done, now keep it aside and let it cool.
  • STEP 5.Now on a flat dosa pan, spread the dosa batter and make evenly thick dosa by applying ghee.
  • STEP 6.Once the dosa is done remove from a plate Place some potato batter in between n spread and make roll
  • STEP 7.Your yummy masala dosa is ready to Serve.
