Directions: Masala Buns Recipe
STEP 1.In mixing bowl add maida, sugar,salt and active dry yeast. Add oil and mix well.
STEP 2.Add little little lukewarm water and bind into soft dough. Knead the dough for 4-5 mins to smooth dough. Apply oil all over it. Keep cover for 25 mins.
STEP 3.Now prepare stuffing, in cooking pan add heat oil. Add asafoetida,cummin seeds,snauf seeds, turmeric powder, green chillies ginger paste. Saute for 30 seconds. Add dhania jeera powder. Saute for 30 seconds.
STEP 4.Add parboiled green peas and cook for 2-3 mins by crushing it.
STEP 5.Add peel and chopped boiled potatoes pieces. Add salt,red chili powder, garam masala, aamchur powder. Mix well and cook for 2-3 mins. Add chopped coriander leaves mix and off the flame. Cool it. Divide into 8 portions.
STEP 6.Now divide prepare fluffy dough into 8 portions.
STEP 7.Take one portion of prepared dough. With hand give shape of katori.
STEP 8.Add 1 portion of prepared spicy stuffing in it. Close by gathering edges as shown. To give round shape ball. Flattened it little.
STEP 9.Place it in grease baking tin line with baking paper. Similarly prepare all. Keep cover for 2 hours in warm place to proof.
STEP 10.After 2 hours..Place this baking tin in preheated oven. Bake Masala buns at 250C for 5 mins,then lower temperature at 200 C and bake for 20-25 minutes till golden brown.
STEP 11.Stand time for 5 mins before removing from oven. Apply milk over baked buns. Serve/ Relish delicious hot Masala Buns applying butter (at the time of serving) and with tomato sauce.
