Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Peel and chop ripe mangoes into small pieces.
  • STEP 2.In a blender, blend the mango pieces until smooth.
  • STEP 3.In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat milk and condensed milk together.
  • STEP 4.Stir continuously until the mixture thickens and reduces to half.
  • STEP 5.Add the mango puree to the milk mixture and mix well.
  • STEP 6.Pour the mixture into earthen pots or kulfi molds.
  • STEP 7.Cover the pots with aluminum foil and insert ice cream sticks.
  • STEP 8.Place the pots in the freezer and let them set for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  • STEP 9.Once set, remove the kulfi from the pots by dipping them in warm water for a few seconds.
  • STEP 10.Serve the Mango Matka Kulfi chilled and enjoy!
