Kanji is usually made with Kali garraz ( black carrot) and with vdal vadas too. If nothing available try Raw mango Kanji. It is equally good in taste.

Ingredients for Mango kanji Recipe

  • 0.67 Pieces raw mango
  • 0.67 tablespoons Mustard powder
  • 0.33 inch pinch asafetida
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.17 tsp Red chilli powder

Directions: Mango Kanji Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash and peel mango into wedges or thin slices.
  • STEP 2.Take a jar and put all the cut wedges into it.
  • STEP 3.Now add water and the spices to it.
  • STEP 4.Give it a stir and place the lid.
  • STEP 5.Place it in sun for about 6-7 days and it will get ready.
  • STEP 6.After a week your kanji is ready to serve. Serve chilled.
