#mango #mangomania It's simple, consisting of chocolate, heavy cream, and butter, which is basically how you make a chocolate truffle, albeit with slightly different proportions. It is dreamy chocolate heaven right there. To maximize the ratio of chocolate truffle frosting to cake, I cut each of the cake layers in half horizontally.

Ingredients for Mango golden truffle pudding Recipe

  • 1/2 tbsp For the chocolate cake
  • 1/4 cup plain flour (Maida)
  • 1/4 tsp plain flour (Maida)
  • 0.13 tsp soda bi-carbonate
  • 0.13 grams soda bi-carbonate
  • 0.13 cup 1/2 can (400 grams
  • 1/4 teaspoon Melted butter
  • 1/2 cups Vanilla essence
  • 1/4 cup 2 cups (250 grams
  • 1/4 g Chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp For the filling
  • 1/4 tablespoon Mango
  • 0.13 cup peeled and finely chopped
  • 1/4 g Sugar
  • a few Mint leaves
  • 0.06 cup water
  • As Required For the garnish
  • As Required Mango

Directions: Mango Golden Truffle Pudding Recipe

  • STEP 1.Sift the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder and soda bi-carbonate.
  • STEP 2.Combine all the ingredients together with 1/2 cup (100 ml.) of water in a bowl and mix well using a whisk.
  • STEP 3.Pour this mixture into a greased 150 mm. (6") diameter baking tin.
  • STEP 4.Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C (360°F) for 20 minutes or till a knife inserted into the cake comes out clean.
  • STEP 5.Unmould and cool on a wire rack.
  • STEP 6.For the truffle icing
  • STEP 7.Put the cream in a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Remove from the flame.
  • STEP 8.Add the chopped chocolate and mix well using a whisk till it becomes a smooth sauce.
  • STEP 9.Cool completely and keep aside.
  • STEP 10.How to proceed
  • STEP 11.Slice the chocolate cake horizontally into two equal parts.
  • STEP 12.Place the top half of the cake on a serving plate and soak with half the soaking syrup.
  • STEP 13.Spread a generous layer of the truffle icing and the chopped mango.
  • STEP 14.Sandwich with the other half of the cake and soak this half with the remaining soaking syrup.
  • STEP 15.Spread another layer of the truffle icing on top.
  • STEP 16.Cover the sides of the cake with the chocolate cream wafer biscuit rolls.
  • STEP 17.Decorate with swirls of whipped cream, mango slices, cherries and mint leaves.
  • STEP 18.Chill for at least 2 hours before serving
