Ingredients for Mango custard bread roll Recipe

  • 0.08 cup Warm milk
  • 0.33 teaspoon Dry active yeast
  • 0.33 teaspoon Sugar
  • 0.33 cup All purpose flour
  • 0.17 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.67 tablespoon Oil
  • 0.33 cup Milk
  • 0.67 tablespoon Vanilla custard powder
  • 0.08 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mango pulp ( Alphonso)
  • 0.17 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • A Few Almond flakes

Directions: Mango Custard Bread Roll Recipe

  • STEP 1.1) In a mixing bowl take warm milk. Add dry active yeast and sugar and mix well. Cover with lid and rest for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 2.2) Then add all purpose flour, salt and oil. Combine all ingredients well and knead soft dough with required amount of milk ( needs approximately 2-3 tablespoon).
  • STEP 3.3) Knead dough well for atleast 7-8 minutes. Put dough into bowl and coat with oil. Cover with lid and put in warm place for 1 hour to ferment.

  • STEP 4.4) Meanwhile prepare mango custard. In a pan take 1 cup milk. Add vanilla custard powder and mix well. Prepare lumpfree mixture.

  • STEP 5.5) Add sugar and bring to boil.

  • STEP 6.6) Stir continuously. Add mango pulp and vanilla essence.

  • STEP 7.7) cook until mixture thickens. Mango custard is ready. Cool down at room temperature.

  • STEP 8.8) After fermentation dough rises at double. Put dough onto clean counter surface or platform. Punch with fist and knead again for 3-4 minutes to remove air bubbles.
  • STEP 9.9) Dust some flour and roll out into rectangular shape.

  • STEP 10.11) Apply prepared mango custard in generous amount. Fold gently and make roll.

  • STEP 11.12) Cut into pieces with knife or a,string.

  • STEP 12.13) Put pieces into baking tray line with aluminum foil or parchment paper.

  • STEP 13.14) Brush with milk and apply almond flakes on top.

  • STEP 14.15) Bake into preheated oven for 160 °C for 30 minutes. Delicious mango custard bread roll is ready.
