  • 1.50 cup cornmeal
  • 1 No.s large yellow plantain
  • 230 gram queso fresco
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Hot water

Directions: Mandocas Recipe

  • STEP 1. crumble down the cheese into small pieces.

  • STEP 1. peel the plantains and boil them in a pot for 10 minutes or until they become tender.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Put all the ingredients into a food processor and combine them together.

step 4

  • STEP 1. knead a dough of this mixture.

step 5

  • STEP 1. roll the dough into a cylindrical rope and make several bow shaped mandocas from it.

step 6

  • STEP 1.heat some oil in a pan and fry mandocas in it for 10 minutes or until they turn golden brown
