Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, marinate the prawns with turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, cloves, and cinnamon stick. Saute until fragrant.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown. Then, add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add tomato puree, coriander powder, cumin powder, and garam masala. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
  • STEP 5.Add the marinated prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through.
  • STEP 6.Add coconut milk and cashew paste. Stir well and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the curry thickens.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or naan bread.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to marinate the prawns for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
