Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.To make the dumplings, mix gram flour, yogurt, and spices to form a dough. Shape the dough into cylindrical dumplings.
  • STEP 2.Boil the dumplings in water until they are cooked through. Drain and keep aside.
  • STEP 3.To make the gravy, heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, and onions. Cook until the onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add tomato puree, cashew paste, and spices. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
  • STEP 5.Add cream and water to adjust the consistency of the gravy. Simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Add the cooked dumplings to the gravy and simmer for another 5-7 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to cook the dumplings until they are completely cooked through to ensure a soft texture.
