  • 44 gm Chickpea flour(besan)
  • 1/5 cup Fresh cream (malai)
  • 0.40 g Desi Ghee
  • 1/5 cup Sugar
  • 1/10 tbsp Cardamom powder

How to Make Malai Burfi Recipe

STEP 01

Take 2 cup chickpea flour in a bowl.

STEP 02

Add one cup of fresh cream to make a dough.

STEP 03

Cover and leave this dough for twenty minutes.

STEP 04

After 20 minutes, the dough puffs up.

STEP 05

Heat a pan and add 2 tbsp Desi ghee in it.Let the ghee melt.

STEP 06

Add the dough to it and stir the dough continuously while roasting.

STEP 07

After 10 minutes,we will see that texture of besan has changed and we smell nice aroma.

STEP 08

Continuously stir besan.It takes almost 20 minutes to roast besan

STEP 09

The flame should be medium during roasting.

STEP 10

Take the besan out in a bowl.

STEP 11

Now,take 1cup of sugar in a pan and add 1/2 cup water to it. Heat it and let the sugar dissolve in water.

STEP 12

When sugar completely dissolves in water,add roasted besan in it and mix it by continuously stirring.

STEP 13

When this mixture thickens, switch off the flame.

STEP 14

Now grease a tray with ghee and transfer the mixture to tray.Spread evenly and sprinkle some cut almonds on it.press them lightly.

STEP 15

Leave it to settle for 60 minutes.

STEP 16

After 60 minutes,cut into desirable shape and enjoy this delicious burfi.
