Ingredients for Mala Xiang Recipe

  • 1 Potato
  • As required few Lotus root
  • 1 Broccoli
  • As required Enoki Mushroom
  • 6 Nos Fishball
  • 6 Nos Meatball
  • 2 tablespoon Dry bean curd
  • 1 cup Noodles
  • 250 gram Tofu
  • A Few Sichuan peppercorn
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Dry red chilies
  • 1 teaspoon Sichuan paste
  • 1 teaspoon Fish sauce
  • As required Light soya sauce
  • As required Olive oil/any cooking oil

Directions: Mala Xiang Recipe

  • STEP 1.Start peeling both the potato and the lotus root and then cut both of them into thin pieces. Cut the tofu into small cubes and chop 5-6 cloves of garlic along with it.

  • STEP 1.In a saucepan take 2 cups of water and then boil the noodles. Once the noodles are cooked take it out with the help of a sieve and then in the same water add the dry bean curd, fish ball, and meatballs.
  • STEP 2.While they are cooking cut the dry bean curd with the help of a scissor. Take them out with the help of a sieve and keep it next to the noodle.
  • STEP 3.Next, give the tofu a quick wash in the same water. In the same boiling water add the chopped potato and lotus root. Don’t overcook the vegetables and keep them tender. Take those out as well.
  • STEP 4.Lastly, add the mushrooms and broccoli and cook them. Take a kadai, pour 4-5 tbsp olive oil, heat the oil on medium flame.
  • STEP 5.Now add the chopped garlic saute them well, then add the sichuan peppercorns and dry red chili saute them well with the garlic. Next, add the sichuan paste and mix it well with all the spices.
  • STEP 6.Lastly, add all the boiled items and give it a good mix with the spices. Add 1 tbsp fish sauce, chicken powder, and 1 tbsp light soy sauce to give them a good mix.
  • STEP 7.Let it cook for another 5mins and keep mix them simultaneously.
