Ingredients for maharashtrian style methi paratha Recipe

  • 2 cup 2 +1/4cup
  • 1 g inger garlic paste
  • 1/2 Tsp ajwain
  • 1/2 Tbsp Zeera
  • 1 Tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 Tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • as required Salt
  • 1 As Required Desi Ghee
  • 1 Cups 1+ 1/2 methi leaves

Directions: Maharashtrian Style Methi Paratha Recipe

  • STEP 1.First of all, clean the fenugreek leaves and wash them thoroughly. Then dry the fenugreek leaves with a cloth and chop them finely. Take flour in a large bowl. In the flour, besan, carom seeds, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, sesame, cumin, garlic-green chili paste, oil or ghee and salt Add and mix all the things well in the flour. Now add chopped fenugreek leaves to the flour and mix it well. Now add little water and knead a tight doughKeep the dough covered for about 10 to 15 minutes. Heat a pan on medium heat. Take the dough and knead it once again. Make small balls of the dough. Take a ball and apply dry flour to it and roll the paratha evenly.put the paratha on the hot pan When small spots start appearing on the top side of the paratha, then turn it over to the other side. After cooking for a while on the other side also apply ghee on the paratha. Flip the paratha and spread ghee on the other side as well. Now roast the paratha well from both the sides. In the same way, prepare and roast all the fenugreek parathas and serve with green chutney or tomato sauce.
