Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Clean and wash the fish fillets. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • STEP 2.In a bowl, mix together turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt to make a marinade.
  • STEP 3.Coat the fish fillets with the marinade and let them marinate for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 4.In a separate bowl, mix together rice flour, cornflour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt to make the coating mixture.
  • STEP 5.Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai. Dip each marinated fish fillet in the coating mixture and deep-fry until golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with steamed rice and chutney.
