Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix together ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt to make a marinade.
  • STEP 2.Coat the fish fillets with the marinade and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai for deep-frying.
  • STEP 4.Dip the marinated fish fillets in a mixture of gram flour, rice flour, and carom seeds, ensuring they are well coated.
  • STEP 5.Gently place the coated fish fillets in the hot oil and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 6.Remove the fried fish fillets from the oil and drain them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  • STEP 7.Serve hot with mint chutney or lemon wedges.
