How to Make Macher Matha Diye Moong Dal Recipe

STEP 01

Wash the fish head and marinate with turmeric powder and salt

Make a paste of ginger paste,cumin powder,kashmiri red chili powder and water

Fry the marinated fish head

Fry roast the moong dal in a frying pan. Boil the moong dal in a pressure cooker with salt and water

Heat the pan with mustard oil. Add dry red chilies,2 bay leaves,2 cardamom,2 cloves,1 cinnamon sticks,½ tsp cumin seeds and let them temp

Add the chopped onions and fry till light brown. Add tomatoes and cook until they are soft

Add the spices paste prepared before, cook until the raw smell goes away. Add fried fish head and mix well.
