STEP 5.Frying the maakouda first heat the oil in the skillet for deep frying, dip the potato patties in the egg, then the flour, and then fry them. Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying.

STEP 6.Fry the maakouda until it becomes golden brown and uses a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.

STEP 7.Serve the maakouda instantly. You can serve it as an appetizer with lettuce, tomato, and hot sauce.
