Ingredients for Lotus Root Stir Fry With Garlic And Ginger Recipe

  • 0.13 inch Lotus root peeled and cut into round slices 2 lb
  • 2 tablespoon Garlic chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Ginger chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon five spice powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon chicken base
  • 1/2 cup Water

Directions: Lotus Root Stir Fry With Garlic And Ginger Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1. wash and peel 2 lb lotus root and cut 2 lb peeled lotus root into ⅛ inch thick round slices.

step 3

  • STEP 1.heat a wok on medium heat and add2 tbsp oil. and add 2 tbsp chopped garlic and 2 tbsp chopped ginger and stir fry till fragrant.

  • STEP 1.3 add 2 tbsp chopped garlic and 2 tbsp chopped ginger and stir fry till fragrant.

step 5

  • STEP 1.4 then add ½ tsp five spice powder, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp chicken base and ½ cup water.& 5 stir fry for 5 to 10 minutes.

step 6

  • STEP 1.5 stir fry for 5 to 10 minutes.

step 7

  • STEP 2.6 during the last 10 minutes of cooking add 1 cup green onions cut into 1 inch long pieces. Toss well.
