- 1/2 cup soaked and boiled Lobia/ black eyed beans
- 1/4 cup Tomato Puree
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1/2 bay leaf / tejpatta
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds / jeera
- 1/2 small – cinnamon / Dalchini
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1/2 green chilli, slit
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder/ jeera powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- 0.13 teaspoon turmeric powder / haldi
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 3/4 teaspoon dry fenugreek / kasuri methi, crushed
