Green Beans,  Ends Trimmed

Cook the pasta and potatoes in a large saucepan of salted boiling water for 8 minutes. Add the beans and cook for a further 2 minutes or until the pasta is al dente, potato is tender and the beans are bright green and tender crisp. Drain the vegetables well, reserving 2 tablespoonfuls of the cooking water.

Place pasta mixture and reserved water in a large heatproof bowl. Add the pesto and parmesan and gently toss to combine. Taste and season with pepper. Serve immediately.
