Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Rinse the lentils thoroughly and soak them in water for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.In a large pot, heat oil and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and dried red chili.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Drain the lentils and add them to the pot. Stir well to coat them with the spices.
