It's a traditional Malaysian dish prepared from rice which is filled inside bamboo and is cooked for at least 3-4 hours.A combination of sticky rice filled with the aroma of coconut milk on each bite.

- 1 kilogram glutinous rice
- 3-4 Nos coconuts
- 2 Nos large Bamboo
- As required Salt

How to Make Lemag Recipe
Rinse the rice and drain off the water.
Place the banana leaves inside the bamboo as per the size of the circumference of the bamboo.
Then add sufficient amount of rice,make sure it doesn
T overflow with rice
Now add a dash of salt in coconut milk and pour it into the bamboo that has been filled with rice.
1.cook it at medium flame.turn the bamboo in every 15 mins just to ensure that the rice is compressed.
2.cook the bamboo for about 3-4 hours and then turn off the flame.remove the lemang from the bamboo.
3.serve the lemang with serunding or rendang
