  • STEP 1.Soak rice and urad dal in water overnight.
  • STEP 2.Grind the soaked rice and urad dal into a smooth batter.
  • STEP 3.Add salt and mix well. Allow the batter to ferment overnight.
  • STEP 4.Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladleful of batter onto it.
  • STEP 5.Spread the batter in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
  • STEP 6.Drizzle oil around the edges and cook until the dosa turns golden brown.
  • STEP 7.Flip the dosa and cook for a minute on the other side.
  • STEP 8.Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
