Ingredients for Leftover khichdi paratha Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Leftover khichdi
  • 0.38 cup Wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tablespoon Chopped coriander leaves
  • as required Oil for frying

Directions: Leftover Khichdi Paratha Recipe

  • STEP 1.1) In a mixing bowl take leftover khichdi, wheat flour. Add oil into flour and mix it. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, sugar, sesame seeds and chopped coriander leaves.

  • STEP 2.2) First combine all ingredients well. If required only then add little water and knead dough. Prepare dough not so stiff not so soft.( water is needed according to the consistency of khichdi )

  • STEP 3.3) prepare equal size balls from it. Take a ball, coat with flour and roll out paratha. Cook both sides on tawa with oil until golden spots appear.

  • STEP 4.4) Delicious khichdi paratha is ready to serve. Serve hot with a cup of tea and achar.
